OK we just got word that the house will be ready June 9. 3 WEEKS EARLY. After all the paper work is complete we should be able to get moving within two weeks after. Every other day I am getting another call to pick out something else. Today was door knobs. Sounds easy right??? There are 5 different finishes in half a dozen styles and to lock or not to lock. I love the lever knobs but did not think that would be ready to child proof when needed. So I have the levers on the closets and knobs on every thing else. The first coat of paint is on and looking ok. One of the colors is looking like it has a slight pink tint in it that I am not feeling but we will see when the second coat is on. I guess that $150 ultrasound money might have to do a color change.
Today was another quick trip to the DR. Nothing big to report. I gained 3 pounds this time and was told to get 2 on in two weeks. I still think this kid is just sucking all the fat off of me. The heart beat is back up to 155. We will go back in 2 weeks for the Diabetes test. Everything feels ok so I am not worried. I still mostly wear regular shirts and pants. I do wear the preggo clothes to work. Some days I look very preggers, others, not so much.
Derrick George is a hand full. He had some shots last week and the effects are hitting him now. Not much of an appetite and small fevers here and there. He has discovered the word no and MINE and loves to use them. His climbing skills are insane. Last night he managed to get on top of the hood of his power wheel Jeep. Look out PC Beach Spring break 2027.
He has begun to show interest in the potty. Last week he took his step stool from the bathroom to the hall, sat down and began to, how should I say it, make poo. I picked up a training potty and he made one pee in the potty. I cheated the system a bit. Just before the bath and we take the diaper off, he makes a pee. Most of the time it is in the tub or on the floor. So I took the diaper off and slapped his hiney on the potty and he did it, like clock work, pee pee in the potty. I yelled " Oh Sh#@!!!" scared the daylights out of the poor kid. We flushed the pee pee bye bye in the potty. Now every time I flush he comes running to say "bye bye" to the pee pee. By no means am I rushing the Little Man to become trained this fast, but if it happens I will keep on.
Thank you for reading all the boring text I will get some DG3 pics up soon.
