Welcome the newest member of the family, Conner Allen. He was born 03/31/2009. Check out his super cute photos on Evan's Life. I will soon update the title now that Conner is with us now. How lucky am I to be the aunt to 4 great kids, 2 boys and 2 girls.

Just SICK

This last week I have been in sick hell. It all began with what I first was thought was pink eye late Saturday night. I hit the doctor first thing Monday and after nearly 3 HOURS, I was told it was pink eye. I had been feeling a bit stuffy so I had him check it out. He said that I had allergies because I had no other symptoms other then a stuffy nose and a scratchy throat. Within 24 hours I had every sick symptom known to man. Kept it at bay for the most part with some Tylenol and the eye drops. Not much for relief. As soon as the Tylenol wore off. fever was back. I called the DR on Thursday and was sent to the eye doctor first. Vision trumped the fever. Come to find out not pink eye. The eye leakage and swelling and redness was due to the nasty viral? sinus infection. I was placed on some antibiotics/ steroid drops and an ointment. Left there and back to the original DR office .. fever coming back... and was able to get some antibiotics. Now Sunday night I am feeling great. Except, having a hard time sleeping. Could I have slept too much?? Could the drugs keep me up???

Weekend off????

I just has the last weekend off and used the time to visit with my family. I packed up the kids and headed up to the Atlanta area. I left the hubby home so he could have some quiet time. It took about 6 hours each wat but overall not bad. I was lucky to have some friends to stop and visit with in a safe enviroment for Derrick to run around and for Leah to crawl around.
The visit went very well. The boys are so freaking cute together. I thought they were fun when they were small, they are a riot now. They were non stop the whole time. The only time apart they had was while they were sleeping. Evan was so great to share all his trains, and Derrick had so much fun. Leah had herself a blast too. She LOVED hanging with the boys. really. She was into the trains just like she was 2 also. I held her up to the train table in the livingg room and she was so happy. She was scooching all over the house, still backwards, but scooting. Leah loved to have her boys around. If they were gone too long she was MAD>>>>>>
Evan was so interested in her. If he was not attached to Derrick's hip, Evan was all in Leah's goings on. He was forever just looking at her. He even helped give Leah a bath. He is going to make a great big brother. I have only a few pictures bc i failed to recharge the battery before I left. I will get some up soon.
I wished I came home to a clean house, once again still wishing...
